Terms of Service

1. The agreement

By creating a Mayvis account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account — and if you already have one, delete it from Settings → Delete Account.

2. What Mayvis does

Mayvis ingests messages from inboxes you connect, parses them with AI, and surfaces calendar events and tasks for your family. It works best when at least one parent has Gmail or Outlook connected.

Mayvis is a productivity tool, not medical, legal, or financial advice. We don't guarantee that every email is parsed correctly. Critical deadlines deserve a second look at the source.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use Mayvis to violate laws or third-party rights.
• Don't use it to harass, impersonate, or spam other Mayvis users.
• Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls.
• Don't scrape, mass-export, or repackage Mayvis data without written permission.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension. We'll give you a chance to export your data before deletion unless the violation is serious or court-ordered.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away at security@mayvis.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Beta software

Mayvis is in active development. Features can change, break, or disappear. We'll do our best to give notice for anything that affects your saved data.

6. Termination

You can leave anytime via Settings → Delete Account; deletion is permanent (see the Privacy Policy for what we erase). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law.

7. Liability

Mayvis is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for missed appointments, missed deadlines, or other consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Always confirm critical events at the source.

8. Changes

We'll post material changes to these Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Connected accounts & third-party services

When you connect a Google or Microsoft account, you also agree to that provider's terms, and you authorise Mayvis to access only the data covered by the permissions you grant — for Google, read-only access to your Gmail messages and the ability to manage your Google Calendar events. Mayvis's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. How we collect, use, store, and delete connected-inbox data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect any account at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts.
